Whitemouth Moray Eel (Gymnothorax meleagris)

What: Whitemouth Moray Eel (Gymnothorax meleagris).
They grow to about 1 meter in length, but this individual was about half that size.

Where: I took this photo while diving at Puako, Hawaii.
This species is common throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

Once again a lovely shot... Hard to believe how fast they are.. I worked at an aquarium and when we feed them you had to watch your back because they would try to steal fish from you...
