Great photo! Sea turtles are so amazing. I had the change to swim with them in Hawaii last year and it was unbelieveable.

I've never imagined how a sea turtle might nap before. With surroundings like that they must have wonderful dreams.

Beautiful image, as always.

Gorgeous. But then, that's all you ever post here. He really does look sleepy! Then again I've heard those guys have a life expectancy in the triple digits, and if I were to live that long I suspect I'd nod off now and then myself.

Actually I do that now!

Thanks everyone. I'm thinking I should post turtle photos more often. Everyone seems to like them.

@ Rob Ripma - Good to know you had the chance to swim with our sea turtles here in Hawaii.

@ feefifoto - Yes I took the photo, seriously! Now get up. :-D

@ Dennis the Vizsla - I hadn't thought of using a photo like this for a wallpaper, but thanks for the idea.

@ Jenn Thorson - It is amazing -- something we never tire of.

@ Mojo - Yes, sea turtles can indeed live to a very old age. Most of the ones we see like this are, shall we say, "middle-aged" critters.
