Hi CatSynth - Yes, they're actually a little hard to photograph, because they're very bright yellow, and also somewhat reflective. Adjusting the amount of flash is tricky. Too little and you can see the fish, but not the background. Too much flash and the brightness of the fish practically burns a hole in the center of the photo!
Hi Bobbie, those are great! I would not have picked their camaflauge outfit, but what the hey? Thank you for peeking at my 'dog sleeping' and Happy WW! ..
That's just awesome. Those guys just about glow in the dark. I've probably said it before, but I really love your work! Happy WW and thanks for stopping by!
What a magnificent shot! I'd heard the Red Sea was a fantastic place to dive. Even before reading your comments I was thinking about how hard it was to light those fish properly.
@ Frigga - The photo was cropped from a larger one, but otherwise not 'enhanced' in any way. Those fish really are that yellow -- and very reflective, too, compared to the background, so they sort of 'jump out' of the photo.
The Right Blue refers to the goal of a lifelong pursuit. Sea water viewed from beneath the surface comes in many hues and shades. Surfers wait for the perfect wave; divers seek the right blue.
