Here's a lucky sea turtle that survived being munched by a shark. If only she could talk! I'll bet she could tell quite a tale about the day the shark took a bite out of her. I took the photo at Sipadan Island, Malaysia.
It is amazing it survived. I think sea turtles are my favorite sea animal. I got quite sunburned in South Texas once watching a turtle surface in the same spot of the jetties every 6-8 minutes. I watched for hours with out realizing how much time had gone by.

Will asked how big this turtle was. This was an average-sized adult -- the carapace (top shell) would have measured about two and a half feet in length (roughly 75 cm).
The Right Blue refers to the goal of a lifelong pursuit. Sea water viewed from beneath the surface comes in many hues and shades. Surfers wait for the perfect wave; divers seek the right blue.
