You did notice that one fish was swimming in the opposite direction to all the others, right? :-D

The fish are Schoolmaster Snappers (Lutjanus apodus). I took the photo in the Carribean Sea, at Little Cayman Island.

Happy WW.

It reminds of a Far Side from a quite a while ago. One penguin is jumping up from the rest of the crowd shouting "I gotta be me!"

Happy WW :)

So true! I know plenty of this type of fish! Great photo.

Maybe your kitty ran off to Italy for a weekend? I've known cats to do stranger stuff. :-)

Love your shot as well, you take such amazing pics, and I can't even snorkel. (I actually panicked snorkeling. So sad!)

This one made me chuckle. Some days I feel like that fish just pushing against the crowd trying to go my own way.

Thank you all for visiting and adding your kind remarks. We had to chuckle at how many of you seemed to identify with the fish that was swimming in the opposite direction. Hmmm.

@ CatSynth - I remember that cartoon. Thanks for reminding me.

@ Sherrie - No, our cat has been here the whole time, but I think he may have a long lost relative in Italy, judging from your photo.

@ Lavender - Hah! Great caption.

@ Mary, the teach - You're right. I was concentrating on getting the whole lot framed in the viewfinder and didn't notice wrong-way-Harry there until later. But somehow that one fish just MAKES this photo.

@ Mon@rch - Yep, it's very relaxing to see these kinds of scenes underwater.

I would love to be under the sea. I have snorkeled in the Caribbean a few times. Your pictures are amazing.

Love that picture! I just wandered over here from my Cyberbones (my Aunt & Uncle). They were telling me about your page last night so I thought I'd come take a look! AWESOME pictures! We live in Hawaii, I just bought an underwater camera-wish me luck!

Hello Jenn - Welcome to The Right Blue, and thanks for your comment about the photos. Good luck with your new underwater camera. Underwater photography can be quite challenging, but also very rewarding. Have fun! (and say hi to Shannon for me).
